Free write Friday

Sorry for the delay but I am just to lazy and the ToonTown rewritten election happened a few days ago.

And I have been working on a new blog with my cousin. 

Anyway here it is.

Hi my name is Jake and I am a normal kid just like everyone else. Except one thing. But I don't have time to tell you about it as our school bully, brutes, that's right brutes. As in "Et tu brute?"  Is coming down the hall. "How 'bout you runt? Wana play some ball?"

He asks me. "I really don't enjoy ball" 

I respond and open my locker. "you think I care what you like runt?" He booms. I've had enough. I take control of his mind and as I'm trying to think of an embarrasing thing to make him do I feel him shaking free of my control. He must be smarter than I thought to fight free of my control. I stand still for a moment waiting for my Mind to supply an answer. Long story short: it didn't. And I got punched in the face. It's on now! I throw a punch to distract him then I teleport behind him and put just enough pressure on the point in his neck to knock him out.    What? Did I not tell you I had powers? Oh that's right I didn't. Then come his goons. This was going to be fun. Ares first I said to myself then I grabbed a smoke grenade from my locker to distract them. Once the hall was smoky I turned invisible andparaded throughout the hallway singing "Ring Around the Rosie" causing minor electric shocks. Then I went silent and struck Ares. He screamed. "Just like the Greek god." I said to myself. Then I struck Julius  just like I struck brutes. He fell just like the others. Now for the last one, Artemis. The smoke was clearing so I turned visible. She was the only threat to me. Not only did she know about my powers, but she had some of her own. "Shall we begin?" I asked. She was scary on her own perfect face and clothes paired with a mischievous personality where enough to send shivers down anyone's spine. Although my friends described me the same way. "Let us." She said and then loosed a bolt in my direction I dived toward my locker and took a box out. I took out another box and opened it. A fire blazed out of it and made a face at her. Oops not that one. I take out another box and open it. Ghosts fly out and I close it  how about this one I open it and a shield pops out just in time to deflect another beam from Artemis. Here it is and I take out a puzzle cube from the bottom. I slide the last peice into place and throw it on the ground. Just then the principal, Mr. Stern came and picked up the box that had the ghosts in it up. "What are you doing Mr.  Wisen!  And what are these! Toys?" He shouted. "Don't open that!" I yelled. "I think I will" he said. He opened it and more ghosts came out.

Sorry for not posting any Free Write Fridays. I was working on some new things. For one free write Friday. First off I will be starting next friday and the poll will be canceled. Second i am starting a blog with my cousin.

Hello everyone!

Ok so I have good news and I have bad news. bad news is that I am changing up this blog for those of you who liked it. I am doing this because it is starting to feel tedious to write posts about the haunted mansion. good news is that I have a series of posts coming every Friday afternoon- starting TODAY!!!!!!!!! now this is a little more complicated than you may think because I have already written a lot of the stories, but no need to fear prepare for a Long String of of “Free Write Fridays” even when its not Friday! not only that but on Saturday every week the poll will be “Who should I add next to free write Friday?” because its getting hard for me to think of things. Also I will be doing other posts but no long strings like the Free Write Fridays.

The Endless hallway

This post contains no pictures. Sorry! Warning this post contains spoilers on how this feature of Disney's Haunted Mansion is done. You come up the staircase into a small sitting room. You see a suit of medieval armor aganst the wall. The voice that guided you this far starts to speak, and the armor begins to shake you look down a long hallway to see a hallway that stretches on for infinity! In it is a floating candelabra. The effect itself is simple. You can create one at your own home! All you need is two mirrors. If you position the mirrors so they face each other and look in one of them you will have an endless hallway.

This is the bacic trick . Now, the imagineers had to figure out how to let you see the hall because as we all know the back of mirrors are opeqe. If you sent the buggies through the hall you would have endless doom buggies as well, as it was they had to paint the back of the candelabra black so that you didn't see it. They decided that at the end of  the hall. was a regular  mirror, and they used two sheets of scrim to divide the hallway into thirds. This makes the hall seem endless. The candelabra hides the entrance and because the entrance is reflected very small because of the length of the hall. The scrim also makes things hazy so you can barley see anything. This is one of the most iconic illusions in the Manor.

Hello everyone! Today I am about to end my Hawaii vacation and I will be posting atleast one Post per month on both blogs. I have a post coming up in a few days.

I have decided that my tour of the house must end.  i know that this is sad, but if you are reading this blog then you have most likely rode this ride. this is a small post, i know, but i wanted to tell you how this blog is going from here on out. this blog is going to  be a lot more like Long Forgotten. if you want to learn how this blog will be, check out his blog.

The Stretching Room

Now you enter the stretching room, a normal gallery. or not. your host starts to talk and while he is doing that the room seems to stretch. then the lightning flashed and the celling vanishes and you see a body hanging from the rafters. then the room goes black. when the lights come up you see the roof intact. and there is a new door. you then leave the gallery…..
